You have to stay focused and be able to move forward while juggling work, family, time and finances. It can be very easy to get off track and lose site of your goals while dealing with distractions that life throws at us daily.

You need to set aside specific tracks of time daily when all you do is work on your business. No interuptions  from phones, email, spouse, kids, dogs, cats or your favorite T V program. And to keep yourself honest and stay on track you need to actually write down, on paper, how you spent that time and what you accomplished.

At the end of the day you need to answer this question, “What did I do today to get myself one step closer to my goal ?” If the answer is nothing or not very much you need to adjust your priorities and get them in order. Is it the business that’s letting you down or are you not doing your part to make it work ?

The same technique applies to your finances. Instead of saying , “I don’t know where all of the money goes.” Write down on paper every penny that goes through your hands in any form daily! Find out where it all goes! Stop wasteful spending and living beyond your means and you’ll probably find a lot of discretionary money. But you won’t know that until you track, measure and manage those finances.

You can mange any part of your work at home business with the simple technique of writing down and tracking the activities you are performing on a daily basis. And then tracking those actions with the corresponding results.
